The Weekend @ Nilgris

I m back bloggin abt my weekend at Nilgris .... The Queen of Hills in South India .It was around 6:30 am when i woke up, all my droopin eyes cud see was the mist which covered the mountains, all i cud breath was the aroma of eucalyptus ,as the bus climbed slowly over the steep hairpin bends , i felt a great level of serenity around , after the hectic FRIDAY at office ....Reached OOTY the main city in the hills around 7:30, Then attu (ASHOK) and Pattabi both my classmates in college came to pick me.Then we all went to attu's place which was a Village called Ellanhalli around 8 KM from OOTY. It was a serene village , I was really taken away by the place where the house was located ... behind the house was these tall eucalyptus trees, carrot and cabbage plantations in the step irrigation style. Met Bala my collagemate , and two of his roomates, then we all went to Dottapetta the tallest point in OOTY then spent some time around the place and moved on to Bikara Dam , which is actually not a usuall DAM , it was kind of river ...Then we all went for Boating in the Bikara Lake , one of the best experiences i had in my life on the Waters , We went for a long around 7 Km ride on the Motor boat , it was amazing ,It was great ot see the green waters , the green pine forests and the small green mountains around , the ripples created by the boat in the seren lake , where the ripples chase each other and fade finally ... i m struck for words to express what i saw :-(Then Pattabi,Bala and his roomies left to Coimbatore , myself and attu when home had some drink and retired to bed .Next day it was a bright Sunday Morning, we both spruced up and planned to go to Kollimalai ,a small village which is around 10 Kms from Ketti , we both took a mini bus which, took us till another Village called Palada , then from there Kollimalai was around 3 Kms, there was no Transportation so we decided to walk .I really enjoyed the landscape around the village while we were strollin ...The local ppl down there told us that a TAMIL Movie Shooting was happenin .. , then moved on to the spot where the shootin was held, the shootin was for a Movie called GODFATHER , which stars the hero Ajit , whom most of my friends hate , we saw his face 2 face for the first time ! He looked like a panni(PIG) , some carp was happenin around the spot we both were not interested in knowin wats happenin ... all we both were lookin out was for the herione ! AZIN ,ppl around the place told us that she was in half saree , lookin beautiful ! but we cud not see her till end and we left the place in frustration :-(
